Job Title: Retail Operations Subject Matter Expert | Grocery + Retail
Pay: $42.00-$45.64/hour (based upon experience)
Duration: 6-Months (with strong potential to extend)
Schedule: Monday – Friday // 40hrs/week
Location: HYBRID | TORONTO ONTARIO CANADA (In Office 2x/week)
Job Overview:
The Retail Operations Subject Matter Expert is responsible for enhancing the in-app experience through strategic merchandising of grocery, convenience, retail, and alcohol products. This includes managing item collections, offers, and marketing surfaces to directly impact customer conversion and engagement. Ensuring accurate search quality improves the customer experience, leading to better conversion rates and platform reliability.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor the quality of searches and submit tickets for identified issues to be resolved
- Collaborate with the Catalog team on catalog quality and seasonal occasions
- Build, deploy, and refresh in-app curated surfaces and item collections
- Support analysis of item collections and offers to track conversion and impact
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in an operations or similar role
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- High attention to detail and strong process/project management skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Strongly Preferred:
- SQL experience a plus
- Bilingual (French Canadian) a plus
