BIM Subject Matter Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced BIM Subject Matter Expert to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our BIM team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on best practices and technical solutions to real-world BIM/CAD design issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on BIM processes, procedures, and requirements.
- Develop and implement discipline-specific templates, component catalogs, and families aligned to program BIM processes, procedures, and requirements.
- Lead the development of integrated corridor modeling and provide best practices for design in BIM, scripting for automation, and metadata population.
- Communicate with support teams to develop creative solutions and resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide insight and expertise on BIM processes, procedures, and requirements to project team members, including BIM Discipline Champions.
- Work with BIM Discipline Champions to develop BIM/CAD design processes, procedures, and methodologies that are efficient and scalable to large-scale design teams.
- Troubleshoot BIM-related issues and coordinate support.
- 10+ years of experience in BIM and Digital Delivery Management.
- Degree in Engineering or Architecture is an advantage.
- Good knowledge or accreditation of ISO 19650 is an advantage.
- Good command of Autodesk products, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, ACC, and Navisworks.
- Good command of Bentley OpenX products, including OpenRail, OpenRoads, OpenBridge, OpenTunnels, ProjectWise, and iTwin.
- Good command of Whole-Life-Cycle Digital Twins.
- Good command of 4D, 5D, and 6D (Carbon tracking).
