- The Department of Engineering at TRU is looking for a highly qualified individual for a Tenure-Track Position at the rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor starting August 1, 2024.
- The candidate must have a PhD in Computer or Software Engineering or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university.
- Teaching and research experience within core areas of Computer or Software Engineering is required.
- Undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Expertise in teaching courses such as Real-time System Design, Digital Communication, Control Systems, Digital System Design (VLSI), Safety Critical Systems, and Computer Architecture.
- Support for Women in Engineering 30 by 30 initiative and encouragement for female applicants.
- Preference for candidates with a valid Full Professional Engineer license from any professional engineers association within Canadian jurisdiction.
- Knowledge or familiarity with CEAB accreditation process is an asset.
