About the Company - 1222077 BC LTD is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Property Manager to manage and maintain residential and commercial properties, assist with farm operations, and run errands as needed.

About the Role - The ideal candidate will have a broad skill set in maintenance, property management, and basic knowledge of building acquisitions. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Property Maintenance & Management
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties.
  • Oversee and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Ensure all properties are kept clean, safe, and in good working condition.
  • Maintain property grounds, including landscaping and snow removal as needed.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
  • Farm Assistance
  • Assist with various farm operations:
    harvesting, weeding, etc.
  • Support seasonal farming activities and projects.
  • Errand Running
  • Run occasional errands, including grocery shopping, picking up supplies, and other miscellaneous tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage deliveries and shipments.
  • Building Acquisitions Support
  • Assist in identifying potential property acquisitions.
  • Conduct preliminary inspections and assessments of prospective properties.
  • Support due diligence and documentation processes.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, property management, and handyman tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of building acquisitions and real estate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with farm operations and agricultural equipment.
  • Technical certifications in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Victoria, BC.


Pay range and compensation package - Competitive salary of $24/hour, overtime pay, vacation pay and leave. Successful hire will earn at least 2 weeks of paid vacation after 12 months of employment, increasing to 3 weeks after 5 years. Unused vacation days will be paid out in accordance with local labor laws. Gas allowance or reimbursement for work-related travel.
