Sales Engineers are responsible for satisfying the needs of those about to become customers to maximize their experience with SOTI products. This includes providing technical support, revenue generation in net new customer acquisition and add-on sales, partner enablement training and following up on existing support cases as needed. This position demands that one maintain high customer service through all interactions as a SOTI representative and consistently engage with the sales team to identify revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow revenue through consultative selling with enterprise clients and prospects in the Fortune 500 space.
  • Collaborating with the regional sales team consultatively with clients/stakeholders. Helping them envision the possibility of mobility
  • Perform production demonstrations that articulate the business and technical value of SOTI solutions to C-Level audiences.
  • Educate on and facilitate SOTI solutions that effectively address business and technical outcomes.
  • Present the solution architecture, including all technical aspects of the product and supporting systems.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, installing and configuring complex enterprise software solutions during POC to prospective customers.
  • Communicate with internal product development teams to resolve product issues & generate recommendations for product roadmaps (feature requests)
  • Respond to RFPs take ownership of the RFP process, and work with a cross-functional team.
  • Perform as a subject matter expert (SME) on SOTI products and assist other sales engineers.
  • Analyze SOTI's market segment (industry knowledge) and provide recommendations to the sales team.
  • Assist new partners with onboarding and provide continuous development to raise their level.
  • Contribute to Strategic Partner QBRs & review Sales Engineering alignment for revenue generation.
  • Take the technical lead on corporate Trade Shows & Webinars
  • Lead execution of internal team projects and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of work experience with experience related to mobile device management solutions and enterprise mobility (Android, iOS, Linux, Windows), BYOD, SaaS
  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience working as a pre-sales / sales engineer
  • Able to plan, prioritize and organize workload, consistently working within service standards and agreed objectives
  • Strong Knowledge of computer networking principles (DNS, IP network, Firewalls, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Application Management (IAM), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Identity provider (IdP), certificates, encryption, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and identity management systems
  • Knowledge of certificate authorities, certificate management & distribution, encryption methodologies (SHA1/2, TLS etc)
  • Strong understanding and experience with Databases (i.e. MS SQL server, MY-SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Good understanding and/or knowledge of business processes & sales cycle
  • Understanding of Rest APIs and coding (i.e. Java Scripting, HTML, etc.)
  • Understanding and hands-on experience with containerization and virtualization
  • Work autonomously with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs

Nice to have

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) - Exchange or equivalent experience
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
  • Any formal sales training - Value Selling, SPIN, Miller Heiman
  • Understanding or knowledge of Cloud Computing
  • Experience with customer service / Incident management software
