Air Wise Sales Inc. is a leading manufacturer of custom air handling units in North America. Strategically positioned to ship products across the continent, the company operates three production facilities in Dundas, ON, Nisku, AB, and Kingston, ON.
In this role as a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be required to learn, understand, and apply all Air Wise policies and procedures to support the promotion and growth of the business in North America. You will perform your duties with minimal supervision, independently and in a team with other sales engineers. You must be able to work in an environment with many distractions, maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy, while performing your duties. Motivation and excellent communication skills are key to success in this role.
The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST.
Some travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and present Air Wise products to customers in assigned territories
- Prepare technical and pricing proposals in a timely manner
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide them with optimal solutions that best fit their applications
- Manage sales representatives' relationships in assigned territories
- Coordinate orders and delivery requirements with the factory
- Work with clients and factory to resolve product and service issues to ensure customers' satisfaction
- Coordinate shop drawings submission with AWSI's engineering team
- Leverage new and existing technologies to promote AWSI's growth and competitive edge
- Promote teamwork and good company morale; mentor and knowledge share with teammates
- Conduct yourself with the highest ethical standards
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in mechanical engineering or a similar technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales
- Strong knowledge in designing and manufacturing of custom air handling units
- Proficient background in HVAC fundamentals and knowledge of HVAC systems, gas & cooling
- Ability to rapidly learn new concepts with little supervision
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills
- Good time management skills
- Willingness to Travel
- Bilingual English/French a strong asset
We are hiring for two (2) positions.
Wages to be commensurate with relative experience.
