PPI is pleased to provide employees with the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. This role is eligible for working from home up to 3 days per week.

Position Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by increasing insurance production and enhancing sales efforts, contributing directly to the achievement of the Broad Market regional sales plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Increase life insurance and living benefits sales amongst key Advisors to achieve both individual and regional sales objectives.
  2. Gain deep understanding of Advisor’s business and proactively support their efforts on matters including, but not limited to, business development, practice management, and succession planning.
  3. Develop trusted partnerships with Advisors to implement objective insurance planning solutions for their clients.
  4. Provide personalized education and training opportunities for key Advisors.
  5. Identify and recruit advisors and firms who fit the PPI profile while continuously contributing to the regional recruiting effort.
  6. Foster relationships with internal partners (Sales, Operations, Compliance, etc.) to collaboratively support Advisors.
  7. Build and leverage relationships with carrier wholesaling teams to ensure current understanding of their products in support of growth targets.
  8. Actively participate in industry events to promote the PPI brand and value proposition.
  9. Engage in actions that encourage, reflect and align with PPI’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments to our Advisors, their clients and our employees.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  1. 8 Years of industry experience.
  2. Previous insurance sales experience is an asset.
  3. Insurance of persons license (LLQP) mandatory.
  4. Fin. Pl. designation an asset.
  5. Deep understanding of family and business insurance landscape, product and concept knowledge.
  6. Proficiency in industry tools and calculators (Life Design Analysis, NaviPlan, CompuLife, etc.).
  7. Clear and effective communicator – including verbal, written and presentation skills.
  8. Advanced level of the English and French language as the individual will need to perform case consultations, deliver training, attend client meetings, network and build relationships with Advisors, colleagues and carriers on a weekly basis at minimum.
  9. Organized with proven ability to deliver results.
  10. Established capability to work within and actively contribute to a high performing team.
  11. Professionally adaptable with time management skills to appropriately address Advisors’ needs.
