Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our Building Products Team. This role focuses on setting appointments with building product manufacturers and large organizations, engaging directly with senior leaders, including directors, VPs, and C-suite executives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proficient in Salesforce, and skilled at personalized outreach. This role requires someone who effectively utilizes and is confident in their capabilities to utilize all channels—LinkedIn, email, and cold calling—to build relationships and secure meetings. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to excel in this role and advance into tech sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prospecting activities across LinkedIn, email, and cold calling to engage high-level decision-makers in building product manufacturing and large enterprises.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and goals efficiently, meeting daily and weekly activity targets. Hits and/or exceeds goal for meetings set, meetings attended, and revenue target for the year.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline by consistently following up on leads and nurturing relationships to drive appointment setting and account development.
  • Follows up on inbound leads in a timely manner and is tenacious on follow up activities
  • Utilize Salesforce for CRM management, account tracking, and performance analytics.
  • Stay informed on industry trends related to building products and construction.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    Experience setting appointments with building product manufacturers or large companies.
  • Skills:
    Proven success in setting meetings across LinkedIn, email, and cold calling;
    proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office;
    strong organizational and communication skills. Would consider themselves a “power user” of Zoominfo and Sales Navigator.
  • Mindset:
    Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed in this role with a path toward growth in tech sales.
