Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing administrative support to other staff members, managing and maintaining executives' schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
  • Support client onboarding by reviewing completed subscription documents and assisting with the Know Your Client (KYC) Process
  • Support external legal counsel with annual returns, resolutions and amendments to various documents
  • Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and events
  • Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications
  • File and retrieve documents and reference materials
  • Prepare expense reports, assist with accounts payable and bank recs
  • Liaise with internal staff at all levels
  • Co-ordinate project-based work
  • Support accounting department 

Qualifications

  • A high level of computer proficiency including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Related post secondary education, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years recent administrative/clerical experience
  • Experience with Simply accounting and new client onboarding would be an asset
  • Previous exposure to compliance work
