Financial AnalystToronto$80-100K + BonusWe are looking for an Investments Analyst to support financial analysis, investor reporting, portfolio performance monitoring, and special projects across the Companies’ current operating business units as well as new business lines. Exposure to high-rise and low-rise residential developments, multi-family, and senior housing projects, while gaining insights into project operations and execution. RESPONSIBIITIES: • Financial Analysis & Decision Support: Assist through financial modeling, market research, and analysis to support decision-making in existing projects, corporate strategies, and new initiatives. • Portfolio Monitoring: Play a pivotal role in monitoring and analyzing portfolio and market trends to support investment strategies, risk assessment, and portfolio management. • Investor Reporting & Correspondence: Coordinate information across various divisions within Baz Group to develop, prepare, and distribute detailed reporting packages and investment materials for our equity partners. • Project Financing: Prepare, collect, and distribute due diligence materials for lenders. • Ad-Hoc Analytical Support: Provide analytical support across Baz Group’s business units and special projects as needed. Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. • CFA, CPA, or other similar designation• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting. • Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills. • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, particularly in building flexible, robust and user-friendly financial models; coding knowledge or experience is a plus. • Strong business, financial acumen and an owner’s mindset. • Demonstrated attention to detail and thoroughness. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
