Financial Analyst - Telecom

At President's Choice Financial, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Telecom team. As a key member of our financial support team, you will play a crucial role in the financial development and support of our various business units within PC Services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting support to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers impacting financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision making.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management review, including executive summaries and presentations.
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the financial health and operational efficiency of the business.
  • Support the annual budgeting process by providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. CPA designation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of Telecom and Gift Card business, financial statements, and key performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
