Based in Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, or Huntsville, the Accounts Payable Administrator will report to the Accounting Manager and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on invoicing, accounts payable & receivable, and financial reporting.


What You’ll Do:

The Accounts Payable Administrator will be part of the Enterprises team. You will:

  1. Provide general accounting support
  2. Post and allocate expenses to proper accounts
  3. Verify accuracy of invoices received
  4. Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information, etc.
  5. Vendor set up and maintenance
  6. Review and reconcile vendor statements
  7. Reconcile corporate credit card statements, match receipts, postings, etc.
  8. Prepare month-end AP reports
  9. Provide confidential, courteous, and professional service
  10. Complete other administrative duties related to filing, maintenance, and retention of accounting records as assigned

  1. You have 5+ years experience working in an Accounting role or related

  5. You are trusted and provided freedom to work independently but also contribute to overall team success

What You Should Bring:

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or university degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related program. Additionally, you should have:

  1. High motivation with results-oriented focus
  2. Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
  3. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  4. Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  5. Ability to navigate confidential matters and manage sensitive data
  6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  7. Experience with QuickBooks or BST is an asset
  8. Valid Class G driver’s licence
