Job SummaryCome work as a Digital Communications Specialist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)
Are you passionate about creating engaging digital experiences that truly make a difference? We're looking for a Digital Communications Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic and collaborative digital content team at Vancouver Coastal Health. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of impactful projects that help shape our digital presence, working closely with health care professionals, developers, designers, and communication leads to bring our digital vision to life.
As part of our flexible and supportive team, you’ll collaborate with multiple departments, agencies and IT services to ensure our websites and digital platforms exceed expectations. From public-facing sites like vch.ca to internal tools like our employee intranet, your work will touch the lives of both our staff and the communities we serve.
As a Digital Communications Specialist with Vancouver Coastal Health you will:
- Work alongside the Digital Communications Leader and Coordinator to implement and guide strategic plans for our public websites and intranet.
- Collaborate with technical partners to continuously enhance and evolve our digital platforms.
- Play a key role in improving user experiences and ensuring that our digital properties remain innovative, accessible, and effective.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, leading projects like content audits, redesigns, and website migrations.
- Share insights and help shape decision-making through your work with data analytics and reporting.
We believe in creating an environment where you can thrive. That's why we offer a hybrid work model, with flexible hours to support both in-office collaboration at our West 6th Avenue location and remote work when needed. You’ll enjoy four weeks of vacation, plus statutory holidays, and the opportunity to participate in on-call weeks that provide even more time off.
Why Join Us? At Vancouver Coastal Health, we care for everyone. Our values emphasize compassion, respect, and continuous learning. We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled but also driven by a sense of purpose—someone who shares our commitment to delivering the best digital communication experiences possible.
If you’re excited about making an impact and being part of a team that values growth, innovation, and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you
