Geotab is seeking an Associate Vice President, Product Marketing who will build and lead the Product Marketing team and shape the Product Marketing discipline. If you love technology and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you

What you'll do

As an Associate Vice President, Product Marketing, your key area of responsibility will be to own end-to-end Product marketing - both the strategic vision and tactical go-to-market execution for Geotab’s offerings. This includes defining the role Product Marketing plays in both the Product/Research and Development organization as well as the Marketing teams.

How you'll make an impact
  • Tell the product & portfolio story in a simple, clear, and compelling way.
  • Build the overall product marketing roadmap for growth.
  • Organize & orchestrate your team to bring our products to life.
  • Design and develop the roadmap for the Product Marketing discipline at Geotab.
  • Provide input and recommendations into product roadmap, strategy, and positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation in product marketing strategies.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts related to product issues.
  • Develop and implement global product go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee the product marketing budget.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Build the team and organizational trust to execute.
  • Contribute to strategy development and execution.
  • Develop and communicate a compelling vision for the Product Marketing function.
  • Provide development, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Maintain a positive, constructive relationship with direct reports.
  • Support talent management programs and exercises.
What you'll bring to the role
  • 8-10 years of experience building and leading product marketing teams.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering/Computer Science/Business.
  • MBA or other advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is highly valued.
  • Certifications in digital marketing, product management, or related fields are a plus.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to provide overall marketing direction.
  • Ambitious self-starter with strong analytical skills.
  • Organized with the ability to keep teams on track.
  • Deep understanding of technology.
  • Strategic mindset with a keen sense of priorities.
  • Experience working with ecosystem partners.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A track record of innovative thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally with a valid passport.
