About You
To qualify for this role, youpossess a Red Seal Millwright Certification. Our preferred candidate will be in good physical condition and able to work in all areas of the mill, whileapplying the full range of the millwright trade functions to support breakdown maintenance including cutting, burning, heating, basic welding, and pipefitting. Candidates must beproficient with the Mill Stores System and Dynamics.
You are willing to assist withtroubleshooting process issues as they relate to equipment operation, and work overtime requirements for breakdowns, planned mill shutdowns, and the requirement as outlined in the Joint Labour Agreement if relief is not available.
As our ideal candidate, you must be able to participate as a member of a team of business partners who have a common interest in the success of the business. You are an independent self-starter, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a sound base of knowledge and experience. You are highly organized and adaptable to changes in the work environment.
