About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Western Forest Products. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including assembling, disassembling, and repairing equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in mechanical equipment.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
