About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Western Forest Products. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery in our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Assemble and install mechanical equipment and machinery, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in mechanical equipment and machinery, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Shopwork and Fabrication: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment, and fabricate parts and components as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
Work Environment

As a Millwright at Western Forest Products, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying weather conditions and noise levels.
