We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our client as a HR/Payroll Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the conversion of data from Excel spreadsheets to a new database system, with a focus on HR and payroll data. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. This CONTRACT position is based in London, ON and is a fully ONSITE opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Organize and structure data in Excel spreadsheets to prepare for conversion to a new database format.
Analyze and understand scheduling and paycodes to ensure accurate data conversion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
Troubleshoot data discrepancies and implement solutions to resolve issues.
Provide training and support to end-users on the new database system.
Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations throughout the conversion process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in HR or payroll environments.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation techniques.
Familiarity with database management systems and data conversion processes.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira is a plus.
