If you have a 2-5 years of SAGD experience along with 4th/3rd/2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate, we are looking for you.Pay Rate: $45 - $70/hr (depending on level experience & certificate)Location: Christina Lake, ABShift: This is a Fly-In, Fly-Out position, working on a 7&7 rotation (Tuesday - Tuesday), flying out of Calgary or Edmonton.Job type: Long Term | Full-timeResponsibilities:Collaborate with operations team to continuously improve safe and efficient operation of the facility.Carry out routine operating activities, such as sample collection, monitor production and pressure equipment, equipment startup/shut-down and layup, LOTO installations and walk-downs, issue permits, troubleshooting, supervise maintenance contractors, and perform wellsite inspections.Submit service requests into Maximo for corrective actions required.Effectively communicate verbally and in writing non-routine activities with co-workers and leadership. Lead non-routine activities such as confined space entry, and pipeline start-ups.Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are in place and followed.Uphold company’s Energy’s high environmental standards by promptly reporting leaks and rectifying the issue.Maintain Accurate logs to identify any conditions that may affect the safe operation of equipment.Execute work in accordance with The Client's standards and procedures.Review and stay up to date on standards and procedures.Work with multiple business units at site including Health and Safety, Environment, Drilling and Completions, and Production EngineeringParticipate in daily and monthly safety meetings, submit Hazard ID’s and present safety moments.Support Projects group with regards to central processing facility, and well pad expansions.Assist in commissioning activities as required.Support facility coordinators to complete business tasks and optimize production.Complete Ad-Hoc requests as required.Qualifications: Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada4th/3rd/2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate is required to work in the Central Processing Unit.H2S Alive, TDG, WHIMIS, Standard First Aid, Confined Space Entry and Rescue is preferred.A Valid Class Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s AbstractA minimum of 5 years’ experience in a steam plant, process plant or well pad operation is required.SAGD specific experience is preferred. Knowledge of safety procedures in a plant/field environment is considered an asset.Experience working with a multi-discipline team is required.Knowledge of operations and maintenance work planning is an assetBasic knowledge of general computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.Strong interpersonal, analytical, organization skills are requiredAbility to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written as well as the ability to adapt your communication style to meet the objective or situation at hand.Are you interested in this position?
