Service Officer II Job Responsibilities

  • Prioritize tasks to meet SLA requirements, ensuring productivity and service excellence.
  • Process external transfers in, external transfers out and internal transfers between the different lines of businesses.
  • Follow firm and industry regulations while processing and documenting transactions accurately.
  • Identify and escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions promptly.
  • Prepare and review documentation to reflect client/business intentions and comply with regulations.
  • Conduct investigations and reports on identified risk issues or process gaps.
  • Utilize systems effectively to ensure timely and accurate information processing.
  • Assist in the analysis, development, testing, and implementation of operational improvements.

Service Officer II Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of wealth management industry, including product knowledge of account types and their functionality (ideally 1-2 years, operations background, closing an account, opening a savings account, understanding of SLA’s)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail required in all tasks.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in navigating computer applications and systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., spreadsheets, data extraction and VBA Macros).

Employment Details:

  • Salary: $22 an hour
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days remote)
  • Duration: 7 months with possibility of extension
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Location: Toronto, ON
