What You’ll Be Doing

As an Intake Analyst within CIBC's Core Banking and Payments Technology Department Intake Team, you’ll support the end-to-end Intake Process and act as the owner of the intake and work with subject matter experts in both business and technology side to deliver the solution design and estimate. You’ll lead Intake items to complete the solution design aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap. You’ll participate in ideation and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best in class client experience. You’ll need to communicate and provide regular status update to requestor thru whole intake process.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Client engagement – Meet with clients to understand their priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide a forward-looking financial plan. Use your knowledge of cash management, credit, investment and wealth protection to help clients meet their goals.
  • Relationship building - Engage in marketing and outreach activities to show clients you value them and their communities. Grow your network, deepen existing relationships, and collaborate with others to ensure clients are connected to the right people and opportunities.
  • Leveraging technology - Become a technology expert. Share your knowledge by introducing clients to our mobile banking applications, enabling them to better manage their banking needs.

Who You Are

  • Understanding Requirements and Business Objectives - Work closely with Business Partners to guide formulation of complex business requirements and solution discussions to meet business needs. Knowledge of JIRA will be helpful in this role as well.
  • Solution Design and Estimat e – Work with Enterprise Architecture, SME from Core Banking and Payments Technology Development teams and other Technology partners to agree on a solution which addresses the business requirements and objectives. Based on the solution, identify impacted areas and coordinate the efforts with all the impacted teams to complete the estimate of the intake.
  • Communication and status updat e – Summarize and provide regular status updates to intake requestor and Intake Team manager on the progress of the intake assigned to you. Understand the business priority for all intakes and negotiate priority with business representative if there is conflict exist. Ensure intake record information was updated with latest information and status.
