Position: Sr. DevOps Engineer to implement CI/CD pipelines and Terraform infrastructure as code for a major insurance client - 830
Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire/conversion to FT
Must Haves:
- 5+ yrs exp with AWS cloud (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Security)
- 5+ yrs exp with Terraform IaC (Infrastructure as Code), Ansible Tower
- MySQL Database
- Docker Desktop
Nice to Haves:
- AWS Certification
- Previous insurance/financial experience
Responsibilities:
- Propose guidelines and carry out activities related to the execution of platform development by developing automation to enable software development and deployment through CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Assist in performing root cause analysis, interpret results, and suggest solutions; provide input into action plans.
- Analyze requirements and develop plans to implement solutions in conjunction with product management and architects.
- Assist the discovery phase of medium to large initiatives to create high-level designs and obtain cross-job function approvals.
- Assist in the design phase to ensure conformity between deployment environments.
- Handle and support solving software/systems monitoring issues and escalations requiring moderate technical expertise to troubleshoot; complete medium to high configuration activities such as alerts and dashboards.
- Automate deployments for solutions as code and ensure conformity between deployment environments.
- Experience in Craft CMS technologies (installation, configuration, administration).
