Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at S.i. Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and Terraform infrastructure as code for a major insurance client.

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with the possibility of conversion to a full-time position.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps engineering, with experience in developing CI/CD pipelines and Terraform infrastructure as code. You will work closely with our team to design and implement automation solutions that enable software development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and other automation tools.
  2. Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure as code for a major insurance client.
  3. Collaborate with our team to design and implement automation solutions that enable software development and deployment.
  4. Perform root cause analysis and suggest solutions to technical issues.
  5. Assist in the design phase to ensure conformity between deployment environments.
  6. Independently handle and provide additional support in solving software/systems monitoring issues and escalations.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer developing CI/CD pipelines.
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Security).
  • 5+ years of experience with Terraform IaC (Infrastructure as Code), Ansible Tower.
  • Craft CMS (installation, configuration, administration).
  • MySQL Database.
  • Docker Desktop.
  • Web Server Technologies/Web Development (HTML, CSS, some JavaScript).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certification.
  • Previous experience in the insurance/financial industry.
