Our client in Mississauga in the IT industry is seeking a meticulous and proactive Office Administrator to join their dynamic team. They are a leading provider of Electronic Logging Devices (ELD), Trackers, and Dashcams, and specialize in the Fleet and Transportation Industry The ideal candidate will manage administrative functions, interact with third party vendors and clients, and ensure compliance with ELD-related legislation.

Position: Office Administrator
Employment Type: Temporary/Contract
Start Date: Monday, August 19th, 2024
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
Salary: $20 /hr
Location: Mississauga (Courtneypark Drive East & Dixie Road)

Responsibilities
  1. Manage all administrative functions including responding to emails, answering telephone calls, appointment booking, and scheduling.
  2. Greet in-person visitors and clients and act as the front face of the office.
  3. Prepare shipments, schedule couriers, and prepare orders.
  4. Oversee office operations including equipment maintenance, supply management, and general administrative support to ensure a well-functioning office environment.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive client experience.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those specific to ELD technologies. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and contracts.
  7. Serve as the primary contact for collection agencies, addressing and resolving issues related to outstanding invoices, payment disputes, and account reconciliations.
  8. Provide comprehensive administrative assistance including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications
  1. At least 2 years of experience in an Office Administration role.
  2. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  3. Excellent communication (written and verbal).
  4. Experience handling sensitive or confidential information.
  5. Must be willing to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines.
