The Opportunity

The B2B Marketing team at Agoda is seeking a visionary Content Strategy Director to lead and amplify our content marketing efforts. This crucial role will enhance brand visibility and create compelling narratives that resonate with our B2B partners and prospective partners.

Role Overview

As the Content Strategy Director, you will oversee the development and execution of various communication strategies targeted at B2B partners. This includes defining Agoda’s core value propositions, crafting content for C-suite presentations, and collaborating with senior stakeholders across departments to identify and showcase our strengths in the B2B travel sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Content Strategies: Create compelling content that engages B2B audiences, elevating brand awareness and reinforcing Agoda’s value across multiple business units.
  2. Craft Engaging Presentations: Design and manage high-impact presentations that effectively convey Agoda’s branding story and core strategies to partners and c-suite executives.
  3. Lead and Inspire Teams: Manage a dynamic content strategy team with a wide range of skills, providing mentorship and guidance, develop KPIs, while recruiting top talent to enhance team capabilities.
  4. Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with senior stakeholders to align content strategies with business objectives, identifying strengths and opportunities within Agoda’s B2B offerings.
  5. Analyze and Optimize Content: Collaborate with analysts to monitor content effectiveness and optimize strategies leveraging data insights on all communication to ensure maximum impact.
  6. Enhance Sales Materials and Strategy: Develop and refine sales collateral to support the commercial teams and improve partner engagement.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
  1. Extensive Experience: A minimum of 8 years in content strategy or related roles. Experience in a B2B marketing environment is a plus.
  2. Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in creating impactful and visually appealing presentations.
  3. Strategic Mindset: Proven experience in developing content that aligns with business objectives and enhances brand narrative.
  4. Industry and Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the tech and travel industry; experience in the online travel agency sector is a plus.
  5. Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to substantiate content strategies and value propositions.
  6. Leadership Capability: Experience in senior people management, with a track record of hiring, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
