We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and providing comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role is pivotal in leading the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and to uphold the highest standards of financial governance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee activities within various accounting departments, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Treasury.
  • Enhance processes and integrate new systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with all financial regulations and ensure all financial reporting meets company and statutory requirements.
  • Provide support and act as a liaison with software support teams and consultants.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial data, supporting leadership in strategic planning and operational finance tasks.
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial forecasting, budgeting processes, and monthly financial closing procedures.
  • Engage in strategic projects and support continuous improvement efforts across financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, ideally within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating and guiding teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with system enhancement initiatives is a plus.
  • A proactive approach and a keen interest in health and wellness.
