Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant with a strong background in finance and accounting. What you'll do:
- Manage accounting functions for a group of related companies, trusts, and foundations
- Assist family members with financial obligations and various administrative tasks
- Prepare and review monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Responsible for Monthly, Quarterly, Annual filings of HST, EHT, WSIB for the group of companies
- Monitor cash flows across the group of companies
- Handle property management responsibilities such as ensuring tenants are paying and coordinating with appropriate individuals if issues arise
- Account for various types of investments including public stocks, private equities, land, real estate
- Prepare year-end files for the corporate group of companies to pass along to external accountants
