Service Coordinator (Mechanical Experience) 12 month contract

Bercon Rentals Inc., is offering an excellent opportunity for a full-time 12 month contract Service Coordinator. We are searching for an individual who is ready to grow their career with the leading company in the industry, has mechanical experience and ability to work in an administrative function. To continue our tremendous success and unparalleled growth, we are searching for qualified and ambitious individuals. This position provides professional administrative and customer support within the Road Service Team utilizing their mechanical knowledge.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Triage service calls supporting clients with steps to resolve their onsite mechanic issues over the phone
  • Escalate service calls as required by:
    • Initiate and manage work orders in the system for the full cycle
    • Act as backup for the Road Service Dispatcher in coordinating service calls and working through customer concerns with the team
    • General administrative duties including reception duties, filing and other duties as assigned.
  • Provide professional level customer service with all commercial clients
  • Work with Road Service team to determine decisions and next steps addressing a client concern
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills both in person and phone with the ability to provide technical information to non technicians
  • Ability to collaborate with a team of professionals
  • Driven to find solutions and make decisions within pre-approved areas

Education & Experience:

  • Working towards a diploma or degree in Business, Office Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year work experience preferably in an office environment
  • Training is provided
  • Basic auto or heavy equipment mechanical knowledge is preferred

This opportunity provides the incumbent with the ability to understand the Heavy Equipment Industry and work with clients in the construction and industrial sectors. This role is a starting role to learn the business prior to moving to other departments within the organization.
