Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, implementing age-appropriate activities, and fostering the social and cognitive development of each child.

Duties

  1. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans
  2. Create a safe and stimulating learning environment
  3. Provide individualized attention to each child's needs
  4. Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and educational activities
  5. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress
  6. Maintain accurate records of each child's development and milestones
  7. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience

Experience

  1. Experience working with children in an early childhood setting is an asset
  2. Knowledge of child development principles and practices
  3. Strong time management skills to effectively plan and organize daily activities
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  5. Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
  6. Proficiency in computer operation for administrative tasks
  7. Strong organizational skills to maintain records and documentation
