Early Childhood Educator

Little Hands Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing the growth and development of young children in our child care center.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging programs that foster the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of each child. Your days will be filled with storytelling, leading interactive activities, and guiding children through various learning experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes holistic child development.
  • Lead engaging activities such as storytelling, singing, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children.
  • Observe children's behavior and progress, documenting their achievements and any areas of concern.
  • Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to child care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
Qualifications:
  • College diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education.
  • Membership with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience working with young children in a child care setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
