In addition to the general duty of the Banquet Bartender, the Lead Banquet Bartender will be responsible for:

  • The Lead Banquet Bartender will assist the Banquet Floor Manager in charge with the flawless execution of events, taking responsibility for the readiness of service staff and the service standards maintained throughout the event.
  • Participate in the onboarding and ongoing training of newly hired associates, providing feedback on growth and development for each artisan to the Banquet Leadership Team.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and management as needed, acting in the best interests of the staff while supporting the Banquet Leadership Team’s vision of the department.
  • Assist in updating daily checklists and training materials as required.
  • Support Banquet Leadership Team in projects including but not limited to managing inventories, maintaining organization of storage areas, taking an active role in event pre-shifts and guiding the non-banquet service staff engaged to assist with large functions.
  • Sets an example as a leader in the department and holds the team accountable to the standards required of all banquet department members and the below requirements of the general banquet server/bartender duties.
  • Understands the impact of Banquet operations on the overall success of the Hotel Arts Group and strives to manage operations to maximize guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bartender, adept in high-volume settings with strong bartending skills.
  • Leadership abilities to inspire and support a team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
