Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Marketing and Communications Assistant provides an advanced level of administrative and organizational support for the execution of marketing and communications initiatives and activities in the Undergraduate Admission and Recruitment office.

The Marketing and Communications Assistant will:

  1. Coordinate communication logistics including large scale email campaigns.
  2. Assist with event planning and execution.
  3. Coordinate the production of collateral.
  4. Develop marketing materials and communication pieces, including presentations, social media posts, and news stories and profiles.
  5. Manage the administrative and financial duties for the marketing and communications unit.
  6. Set-up marketing campaigns and provide both website and campaign analytics on a regular basis.
  7. Build brand awareness by designing and maintaining the department website and social media accounts.
  8. Implement the marketing and communication strategies by preparing and publishing advertising campaign material and the content for digital marketing channels.
  9. Review analytics and make recommendations to improve search engine results.
