Job Title: Manager, Communications and Marketing

About the Role:

The Manager, Communications and Marketing is a key member of our team, responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies that showcase Northwestern Polytechnic's brand and reputation. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations, marketing, and communications principles, as well as excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communications strategies to promote the Polytechnic's brand and reputation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine key messages and communication vehicles for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage the Polytechnic's corporate website and social media channels, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Develop and distribute news releases, media advisories, and other communications materials.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the Communications and Marketing team, ensuring effective project management and team collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communications and marketing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of public relations, marketing, and communications principles.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
