The Consultant (Pension & Retirement Consulting) will report directly to the Principal Consultant & Practice Lead. The successful candidate will manage a block of clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention. This role will be to consult and partner with our clients on their employee retirement programs.
What you will do:
- Manage relationships with key clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention and identify opportunities for growth.
- Work with other teams at Cowan to contribute towards the overall growth strategy.
- Provide your block of clients with their annual plan reviews, marketing, plan member communication strategies and other projects.
- Collaborate with and mentor other team members to help them thrive and grow.
- Be supported by colleagues who will assist with the servicing of these client relationships.
- This will include support of their annual plan reviews, investment reviews, marketing, plan member communication strategies and other projects.
What you will bring:
- Knowledgeable about the retirement industry with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field, such as business administration or equivalent training from a combination of relevant work experience and education.
- Strong networking skills in your community and at industry events with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a solid track record of success in helping grow business.
- LLQP licensed in Ontario or willing to obtain.
- CEBS designation (or working towards designation) would be an asset.
- Bilingual – English and French – would be an asset.
- Willingness to travel in the South Western Ontario region.
