Job Summary:


Are you a strategic visionary passionate about leadership, technology, and empowering businesses to reach new heights? Business in a Box seeks a dynamic and forward-thinking General Manager who can lead our charge to redefine how businesses operate and excel. As General Manager, you will be the captain of our ship, setting the course for day-to-day execution relating to product development, cloud operations, marketing, human resources, and finance. Your main goal is to grow the company. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring a diverse team of professionals, overseeing operations, shaping the company's strategic plan, and creating a culture of excellence. You will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in driving the company's roadmap for global expansion.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Trailblazer: As the driving force behind Business in a Box, you'll be responsible for setting the company's strategic direction. Your visionary thinking and productivity will lead us to new opportunities and uncharted territories.


  • Team Catalyst: Build, lead, and inspire a team of exceptional individuals across multiple departments. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence. You'll be the captain of a diverse and passionate crew of talented people.


  • Product Pioneer: Collaborate closely with our product development team to shape and refine our software solutions. Your vision and high-quality standards will guide the creation of tools that cater to the specific needs of small and mid-sized businesses.


  • Global Navigator: Identify untapped market opportunities, both locally and globally. Chart the course for expansion and establish vital partnerships to help us conquer new horizons.


  • Financial Maestro: Manage the company's financial planning and budgeting to ensure sustained growth. Your financial acumen will drive revenue and secure the company's financial health.


  • Customer Champion: Place the customer at the heart of everything we do. Monitor and enhance the customer experience to ensure unparalleled satisfaction and loyalty.


  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure our performance and success. Your data-driven decisions will steer us toward greatness.


  • Digital Architect: Craft and execute a digital marketing strategy that takes Business in a Box to new heights. Build and maintain a captivating digital presence, starting with our website. Ensure it reflects our brand identity, engages users, and offers a seamless experience.


  • Multi-Channel Conductor: Direct multi-channel advertising campaigns with finesse, harmonizing the messaging across platforms. From social media to email, ensure each touchpoint contributes to a cohesive marketing composition.


  • Conversion Virtuoso: Elevate conversion rates with a masterful touch. Pinpoint and transform potential drop-offs into crescendos, ensuring that every engagement contributes to the harmonious journey towards conversion.


  • Business Development Dynamo: Be the driving force behind Business in a Box's business development initiatives, overseeing market analysis, prospect identification, and partnership cultivation. Lead the charge in identifying new avenues for growth, capturing emerging trends, and ensuring a thriving BD ecosystem within the organization.


  • Operational Efficiency Supervisor: Oversee and optimize operational processes at Business in a Box. Implement best practices, streamline workflows, and enhance productivity to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all operational aspects. Maintain a vigilant eye on cost management and resource allocation to uphold operational excellence.


Requirements:


  • Proven track record in a leadership role, with an emphasis on innovation and strategic thinking (Digital marketing or software development agency experience is a plus).


  • Ten years of operations experience with 5+ years in a leadership role and significant experience managing large teams and business processes.


  • Exceptional team management skills, with a history of assembling and nurturing high-performing teams.


  • A strong background in cloud technology and software product development.


  • MBA from a reputable institution or equivalent experience.


  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Deep industry insight and a knack for understanding market trends and customer needs.


  • A passion for innovation and a growth-oriented mindset.

Salary & Compensation:


  • Competitive salary of $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on your experience.
  • Stock options and bonus plan.
  • Remote job with two or three days a week working from the Brossard office.
