Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President Academic, the Dean of the Faculty of Business is responsible for the overall management of the Faculty and will serve as a strategic and collegial leader to faculty, staff, and students. The new Dean will lead the Faculty through the continued implementation of its strategic plan and work consultatively to advance endeavors in teaching and learning, research and discovery, and community engagement. As an ambassador and advocate for the Faculty across the University and within and beyond the regional community, the new Dean will enhance student experience and success, attract and retain an exceptional faculty complement, and play a central role in supporting the Faculty and the University’s commitment to innovation and sustainable growth. The Dean of the Faculty of Business will help shape the future of UNB Saint John.

As the ideal candidate, you are a highly collegial and consultative leader with a distinguished academic record. You come to the role with a passion for building and delivering high-quality student-centered programs and an understanding of the opportunities possible for a business school and small campus environment. You are an experienced administrator who is deeply process-oriented and are eligible for appointment as a Full Professor at UNB. You have led departments or programs and understand how to achieve sustainable growth, build and engage teams, and deliver a high-quality educational experience to a diverse body of students. A natural and strong developer of internal talent, you motivate and support others in pursuit of their own endeavors. You have a global perspective and will establish and maintain productive relationships within the institution and in the broader regional, national, and international communities.
