OVERVIEW

ATS’ Global Services team is a dynamic, change-leading team that drives the delivery of value-driven Services to our customers worldwide. Services is a growing component of the overall delivery of value to ATS’ customers globally, and offers an opportunity for an opportunistic individual to create a well-defined offer structure of high-value service solutions to drive ongoing value.

The Product Manager, Service Solutions is responsible for the success and profitability of the Services portfolio globally at ATS. The Product Manager, Service Solutions defines a vision and roadmap for products and solutions, from conception, offer design & structure, value proposition, launch plans, training and promotional plans. The Product Manager bridges the gap among the different departments as necessary to design, plan and implement the optimal service solutions, including: sales, marketing, R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and regional & divisional service teams. The goal is the successful creation, launch, and management of lifecycle services offers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Identify market opportunities through prospect discussions, customer feedback, and market research; understand ATS’ services offerings, and define the necessary products & solutions architecture that maximizes our financial performance.
  2. Own the compilation and communication of the solutions roadmap and lifecycle of our products and offerings.
  3. Build credible, data-based and insight-based business cases for undertaking new product offerings within existing portfolios, development.
  4. Track and manage the profitability of the service-product portfolio; understand revenue upside potential, identify optimizations for cost structure and service delivery with the goal of maximizing margins.
  5. Understand the competitive landscape: defining the offering structure, pricing, major competitors & competitor types, and value propositions for all competing offerings in our market space.
  6. Ensure the effective planning and delivery of service solutions through close collaboration with key stakeholder teams at ATS as necessary to drive success: sales, marketing, finance, R&D, engineering, divisional & regional service teams.
  7. Enable and assist with marketing content generation for the target markets, segments and customers; present a clear value proposition as to how and why our products & solutions deliver value to customers, enabling Marketing promotion and ultimate sales success.
  8. Enable and assist in sales training and enablement; internal playbooks and customer presentations, defining how-to-sell and execute the offer vision.
  9. Enable and assist Marketing in generating testimonials, customer success stories and whitepaper content to drive Global Services promotions capabilities.
  10. Become a knowledge-leader and key asset for Sales and Services team members globally; an inspirational support and driver of our service solutions.
  11. Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS
  1. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
  2. Additional business degree or leadership certificate is a plus.
  3. Minimum Five years of experience.
  4. A combination of Marketing, Sales, and Engineering experience.
  5. Product management experience in B2B markets.
  6. Experience with Services and service solutions.
  7. Experience in technology/manufacturing fields; industrial automation, industrial equipment, processes, etc.
  8. Ability to sell to internal customers.
  9. Ability to work on cross-functional teams.
  10. Experience in key ATS market segments: life sciences, food & beverage, automotive, energy etc.
  11. Creative problem-solving skills.
  12. Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  13. Self-starter who is able to demonstrate initiative.
  14. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  15. Experience working with international partners and marketing in international markets is a plus.
  16. An inherent desire to delight customers.
