Responsibilities
  1. Prepare internal financial statements for the company.
  2. Coordinate with external auditors.
  3. Develop, maintain, and monitor various budgets.
  4. Optimize and supervise the month-end closing process, prepare monthly financial statements, and analyze budget variances.
  5. Supervise accounts payable, invoicing, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  6. Manage liquidity and maintain current liquidity forecasts.
  7. Identify potential subsidies to enhance company operations.
  8. Collaborate in developing financial performance indicators (KPIs).
  9. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on key performance indicators.
  10. Monitor compliance with internal controls, policies, and processes, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  11. Establish and enforce policies and procedures based on best accounting practices to ensure effective departmental management.
  12. Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, banks, and other third parties.
Qualifications

Required for this position:

  1. CPA designation an asset or working towards it or relevant experience
  2. 2 to 5 years experience
  3. Bilingualism an asset
  4. Experience in team management
  5. Excellent communication skills
  6. Knowledge of Great Plains an asset.
