Title: Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Advisory Services

Work model: 4 days in the office per week (starting October)

Base office: 1 Presidents Choice Circle, Brampton, Ontario, L6Y 5S5

Travel: Requirement to travel to our various offices in the Greater Toronto Area (including Toronto and North York), from time-to-time, based on project and business needs.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Risk Management, the Senior Manager will be responsible to help lead and execute on a variety of high-impact and high-visibility risk engagements across our portfolio of entities.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of the ERM framework, identify and help the business respond to emerging trends, managing relationships with senior leaders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal/external partners to understand challenges and propose solutions.
  • Lead ERM activities by collaborating with business teams focusing on analyzing, communicating, and evaluating significant business issues.
  • Work directly with key stakeholders to produce and present highly visual presentations capturing current and emerging risks.
  • Develop and present creative reporting material for Audit, Management, Risk, and Compliance Committees.
  • Maintain monitoring protocols to evaluate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Initiate and lead initiatives to enhance service delivery quality.
  • Collaborate with the RAS team to align and execute risk and compliance activities.
  • Proactively raise ideas where data-driven initiatives may add value.
  • Lead, coach, and build teams by developing staff and overseeing performance evaluations.
  • Perform any ad-hoc requests by management as necessary.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

  • 6+ years of experience in business operations (e.g., sales, marketing, finance).
  • 2+ years in a supervisory capacity.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • MBA, CPA, PMP, or similar designation is a strong asset.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of risk management theory.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present effectively.
  • Enthusiastic learner with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven problem-solver with an innovative mindset.
  • Strong work ethic and focus on delivering results.
