Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the HVAC Sales Representative will engage with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide technical expertise to recommend appropriate services and solutions. As the HVAC Sales Representative, you have a strong background in HVAC systems and equipment combined with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to secure contracts with new and existing customers for mechanical repairs, equipment installations, energy retrofits, and preventative maintenance in the multi-unit residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries by completing a technical assessment of the job to provide each customer with a recommended solution and services.
  • Prepare quotes for service and equipment recommendations for new and existing customers, showcasing the value of our services.
  • Sell Mechanical System Maintenance Contracts to MUR Building Owners/Landlords and Commercial Property Owners/Landlords.
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction with existing customers by ensuring ongoing service work exceeds their expectations and identify any opportunities for improvements or for new sales.
  • Monitor construction tender sites for to secure new opportunities.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with new customers.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, new technologies, and regulations related to HVAC systems and equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade background with 3-5 years of technical, hands-on experience in the HVAC market.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and components, as well as relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively are essential to handle tight deadlines and multitask efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence customers.
  • Proven ability to work as a collaborative team player with excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of maintaining accuracy in your work.

Working Conditions:

  • This role will involve a combination of office and field-based activities, scheduled from Monday to Friday. Overnight travel may be necessary but limited, typically for training or conferences.
