Position Overview

As a Stakeholder Engagement Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with project goals. You will be responsible for recommending the best timing, approaches, and tactics for stakeholder interaction, as well as leading the development of engaging meeting materials. Your role also includes overseeing the stakeholder engagement process to ensure compliance with all protocols and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for facilitating stakeholder meetings, ensuring effective communication and meeting objectives.

What will you do?

Here are some of the primary responsibilities that will fall under your role.

  • Developing Strategy: Formulating and implementing strategies for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Planning Engagement: Advising on optimal approaches and timing for stakeholder interactions.
  • Creating Materials: Leading the development of materials for stakeholder meetings.
  • Managing Processes: Overseeing adherence to engagement processes and protocols.
  • Facilitating Meetings: Conducting stakeholder meetings to ensure clear communication and achievement of objectives.

What does your professional profile look like?

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in the field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in stakeholder engagement, specifically in Public Transportation projects.
  • A proven ability to manage large projects with multiple stakeholder groups, with experience in the City of Toronto and TTC contexts.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning and communication, capable of engaging and influencing a diverse array of stakeholder groups.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Relevant certifications or registrations in project management or stakeholder engagement are preferred.
