Position Overview – Systems Administration

As a Systems Administrator, you will be at the heart of our IT operations, ensuring our infrastructure is robust, secure, and always performing at its best. Your Key Responsibilities:

Management and Administration:

  • User Account Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, ensuring compliance with security policies.
  • Service Desk Oversight: Lead the company-wide Service Desk, addressing user issues promptly and providing insightful monthly metrics.
  • System Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to keep an eye on system logs, performance metrics, and network traffic, responding in real-time to any anomalies.

Network and Security:

  • Infrastructure Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure components.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.

Technical Support:

  • User Support: Provide top-notch technical support to end users, resolving IT-related issues swiftly.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a general IT role.
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware.
  • Understanding of Azure.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
