Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Human Resources, Transportation West and Network Operations is responsible for leading a HRBP team and the strategic business partner to Senior Management in the Transportation West and Network Operations functions. The role oversees all aspects of human resources and serves as a coach to members of the team.

Responsibilities Include:

· Drive business results with Executives by acting as an active and influential trusted business advisor

· Implement HR initiatives and programs that effectively support overall company strategy

· Support functions in executing key HR processes, including recruiting, performance management, succession planning and compensation

· Communicate policy and program changes and ensure successful roll-out of all HR programs

· Partner with business leaders to drive employee engagement and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives

· Drive organizational design and structure in functions being transformed and ensure right roles and talent are in place to fulfill transformation objectives

The Qualified Candidate will have:

· Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant discipline

· 10+ years of HR experience that include the following:

· 3+ years of experience leading, supervising and coaching a team

· Ability to travel throughout Canada and USA

· Human Resources Certification (CRHA) or equivalent*

· Bilingual both written and verbal (English, French) *

· Is agile in responding to the rapid evolution of the industry

· Tracks metrics to achieve ambitious targets and holds self and others accountable to meet performance expectations

· Makes informed and timely decisions to get things done

· Builds and maintains an internal network to support a better overall work experience

· Collaborates with key internal stakeholders to enable higher productivity

· Knows the business and stays current with industry trends to elevate expertise and work

· Initiates and drives organizational changes to enable business transformation

· Inspires others with impactful communications and adapts to the audience

· Influences by translating expertise into practical business outcomes

Technical Skills/Knowledge

· Expertise in strategic planning, complex problem resolution and general management

· Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations

· Fully bilingual in both English and French will be considered as an asset

It may take some time before your status is updated, as we receive a high volume of applications on a daily basis. Can I withdraw an application?

Yes, if you change your mind about a particular job, you may withdraw your application at any time. If you've already received a job offer, you can simply decline it.

The Recruitment Team will notify you by email whether or not you will be moving on to the next step of the recruitment process, based on your online assessment results. If successful, you will be invited to the next available recruitment session hosted in the location you have applied to. Keep in mind that it can take several weeks before a session becomes available.

I was unsuccessful with the online assessment - how long must I wait before I can re-apply?

You will have to wait a period of 6 months before you are eligible to re-apply to a position that requires the same testing.
