Position Summary

The Director of Provider Network is responsible for the overall management of the provider network from enrollment through ongoing relations, including training and communications.


With a strong background in practice management, clinical proficiency, credentialing, provider contract management and regulatory compliance, the Director of Provider Network will work closely with Teladoc Health’s clinical leadership to support programs and help manage oversight committees. The Director will lead activities with other internal departments to provide optimal customer service to network providers and internal customers.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Direct enrollment, credentialing network strategy
  • Optimize provider base for all programs, develop successful provider arrangements
  • Work closely with the quality, audit and compliance teams
  • Identify technology and process improvements for increased efficiencies
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key providers including physician groups and hospitals
  • Works to ensure provider networks meet the needs of client’s coverage areas
  • Adapt to changing business needs and competing priorities
  • Perform special projects as needed


Skill Requirements/Preferences

  • Solid knowledge of best practices and modern strategies for engaging healthcare providers
  • 10+ year of management experience overseeing large teams responsible for network operations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of changing healthcare in Canada (public and private systems)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience building and successfully maintaining client relationships
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Occasional travel across Canada (less than 10%) is required
