Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to Guidewire applications.
Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure that solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit requirements and gather feedback from stakeholders.
Perform gap analysis and assist in defining solution options and recommendations.
Provide support and guidance to business users during the implementation and testing phases.
Contribute to the development of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Assist in training end users and providing ongoing support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with specific experience with Reinsurance.
Strong understanding of insurance industry concepts and processes, particularly in property and casualty insurance.
Familiarity with Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
Guidewire certification (e.g., Guidewire Certified Professional) is a plus.
