Location: Toronto, ON, Canada
Skills and Responsibilities:
- Ensure documentation is created/verified and issues are documented along with resolutions.
- Direct server health checks before and after patching for validation.
- Manage creation of tickets for support to resolve issues identified during server health checks.
- Direct OS-level patching and remediation activities as defined in the application-level remediation plan.
- Perform monthly patching using HPSA tool and/or manually as required to remediate outstanding vulnerabilities (Windows specific).
- Perform patching utilizing tools and processes defined by the client to meet established forecasts (Linux).
- Provide daily updates to PA on change schedule/implementation to track progress.
- Troubleshoot escalated issues that arise during system reboots or remediation until the problem is deemed non-trivial.
- Open incident tickets to Client Support for system issues that occur because of reboot or remediation that were deemed non-trivial after initial troubleshooting.
- Own ticket creation for all changes to be performed on servers for assigned applications (Windows specific).
- Schedule events and load patching tool based on monthly patching matrix (Windows specific).
- Perform server health checks before and after patching for validation (Linux specific).
- Perform OS-level patching as defined in the run book provided by the client.
- Troubleshoot and escalate issues that arise during system reboots or remediation until the problem is deemed non-trivial.
