Junior Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Salesforce Developer who is eager to learn and grow within our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of Salesforce development concepts and a strong willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Learn Salesforce development:
Engage in training sessions to gain a solid understanding of Salesforce development concepts, Apex programming language, and Lightning components.
Collaborate with senior developers and participate in code reviews to accelerate the learning process.
Customization and configuration:
Assist in the customization and configuration of Salesforce solutions based on business requirements.
Work with stakeholders to gather and understand their needs, translating them into technical specifications.
Apex coding:
Develop and maintain Apex code to enhance system functionality and meet business requirements.
Debug and troubleshoot code issues, collaborating with the team to find effective solutions.
Lightning component development:
Learn and contribute to the development of Lightning components to create a seamless and user-friendly interface.
Integration:
Collaborate with the integration team to design and implement solutions that connect Salesforce with other systems and applications.
Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and development work.
Ensure that all code and configurations adhere to best practices and coding standards.
Quality assurance:
Participate in testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve any issues.
Stay updated on Salesforce features:
Stay informed about the latest Salesforce features and updates.
Actively participate in Salesforce community forums and groups to share knowledge and learn from others.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
Basic understanding of Salesforce platform and development concepts.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec or unilingual English-speaking on a daily basis.
Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Exposure to Salesforce Lightning framework.
Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce certified administrator, Salesforce certified platform developer).
