Position: Payroll and HR Administration Specialist

Location: Downtown Montreal

Salary: Up to $70,000 – commensurate with experience

Our client, a prominent player in the service industry, is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Payroll and Human Resources Specialist to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for designated employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Actively participate in the administration and optimization of the Nethris payroll system, contributing to its reconfiguration for enhanced efficiency.
  3. Collaborate closely with HR colleagues to facilitate seamless employee onboarding, integration, development, and termination processes.
  4. Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of HR processes, keeping them aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  5. Provide valuable support to management in employee performance management initiatives, offering insights and solutions to optimize team effectiveness.
  6. Collaborate with the finance department to conduct thorough payroll audits, ensuring accuracy, legality, and adherence to internal policies.
  7. Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols to safeguard personal and sensitive employee information, adhering to privacy regulations.
Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Information Technology, or a Related Field.
  • Experience in managing HRIS changes/implementations, Nethris, Desjardins or Employer D.
  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll and HR.
  • MS Office365 suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, index/match).
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written, to facilitate international communication.
