Position Overview

As a Director of Sales (Sales Representative), you’ll represent the front line of our business development and sales efforts and close deals with new clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching trends, conducting competitor analysis, developing and implementing sales strategies. We want to ensure that our clients LOVE working with us and that we exceed their expectations in every interaction and this starts with you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation through identifying prospective clients, cultivating relationships and build consensus among key stakeholders.
  • Identify and understand client needs and use detailed knowledge of the Diverso Energy solution, Geothermal and the Building Construction to propose appropriate solutions that generate value for the client and Diverso Energy.
  • Perform financial analysis and create financial proformas for potential clients as a part of the proposal process.
  • Manage complex sales cycle within new clients by mapping customer’s decision-making and approval processes, compressing timelines, negotiating contracts, and closing business.
  • Lead any and all aspects of the technical, financial and legal sales process.
  • Develop and deliver outstanding presentations.
  • Expand Diverso’s presence within your territory by developing and maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders, industry influencers, etc. execution in each of the relevant markets.
  • Facilitate the transition from close of sale to the fulfillment team.
  • Uphold and promote the organization’s values and philosophy to provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Willing and able to travel within your territory.
  • Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely or from the office based on demands of specific tasks or meetings and agreement with your manager.
  • Attend relevant industry events and deliver presentations where appropriate.
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned that may change from time to time.
  • Reporting to the CEO or such other person(s) as Diverso Energy may designate from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Construction industry experience considered an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in sales
  • Strong leadership skills

  • Handle confidential and sensitive matters in an appropriate, discreet manner.
  • Write and communicate professionally and have knowledge of all MO Suites.
