About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Superstar with a track record of success If you are an entrepreneurial sales superstar who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys the thrill of building strategies to close sales, while also empowering a team of people to do the same? The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by developing new marketing strategies, enhancing client acquisition efforts, and managing both marketing and sales initiatives. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a robust background in sales, marketing, and leadership within the digital marketing or legal industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Sales:

  • Develop and execute innovative business strategies to introduce our agency to new markets, with a focus on untapped opportunities within the legal sector.
  • Lead cold calling and cold outreach initiatives to prospect new clients effectively.
  • Close deals and achieve growth objectives by pitching our value proposition to potential clients and persuading them of the benefits of our services.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to adapt and anticipate shifts in the marketing landscape.

Marketing Activities:

  • Drive marketing strategy to generate sales ready leads.
  • Lead Marketing Coordinator to ensure seamless execution of marketing calendar and campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials and communications, ensuring brand consistency and message clarity across all channels.
  • Identify relevant trade shows, and plan strategic attendance to maximize networking opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies for hosting our own events aimed at prospect recruitment and brand positioning.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Manage the sales & marketing team (currently one SDR and one Marketing Coordinator), setting objectives, reviewing performance, and providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Lead the initiative to build a sales team structured to support and sustain business growth.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to support business retention and growth.
  • Understand client needs and develop solutions that align effectively with their business goals.

What you’ll bring to our team

  • Proof of Super Sales results in a previous role
  • Strong prospecting skills and ability to do cold outreach
  • Cold Emailing experience
  • Sales management experience and a desire to lead other people 
  • B2B experience
  • Basic understanding of Google Adwords and Facebook Advertising 
  • Experienced with Google Suite and Social Media platforms
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experienced with using sales management software (Go High Level, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc) 
  • A strong passion for research, analysis, and continuous learning and development
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets and projections
  • Ability to develop long-term strategies, own and manage programs to support it and drive execution
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on using data to provide insight and make recommendations
